1x1967 Weird dime......looks like part of the rim wasnt formed properly and was melted over the R in liberty......worth keeping?

canadian i keep just for fun... but i don't keep pre 1960 nickels, still don't get why lots do

not too happy about the pennies......usually get much better than this. Not sure whether to keep the dime or not........was thinking it might be a slightly clipped planchet that was crushed on top of the coin......unfortunatly it looks more like it was melted which i know isnt something that would happen at the mint.....but i dunno?!? :help:

The dime is probably a die break (cud). Is there a corresponding weak area on the reverse side? It's a genuine cud then, not that common on dimes.

The reverse is has a similar "blob" effect on it just a little smaller. No weakness though......worth keeping i assume then =)

Definitely keep the Canadian nickel. It is .999 fine nickel and worth more than a nickel:-) i wish i could find more down this way lol.
