77-78

[robfinds]

This afternoon hammered coins 77 and 78 came up. Both in pretty poor condition. On the full one I can see the letters EBO, this shows the coin was minted in York. On a more positive note though also found a nice small medieval pendant, with complete suspension loop 13th/14th Century. Also some silver cufflinks, very plain looking, probably Georgian.

Gotta love the UK! Where else can you find a hammered, follow the protocols of the Antiquities Laws, sell the find to a museum or get it returned and then sell it, then go down to the local Pub and get hammered, LOL!!!
