I decided to take off the whole week around Thanksgiving. Between the four months of overtime and my two babies, I really needed some time to unwind. And, more importantly, coin roll hunt. Yesterday I hit almost every bank in my closest city - buying, searching, and dumping everything I could with modest results. I brought home a few coin counter bags to search later. I didn't get around to them until this morning. I woke up before the kids, grabbed a bag of dimes, and peeked inside...

I grabbed a tiny handful and there were three silvers. I took a closer look inside the bag and could see white edges everywhere. I quietly woke up my wife and told her to join me at the kitchen table for an awesome collection dump experience.

My great luck while hunting relatively low volume somehow got better. We pulled 825 total silvers - 803 Rosies and 22 Mercs.

Before even putting a dent in that bag, I paused the hunt and drove back to that bank to buy everything else. Two quarter bags had nothing, one nickel bag had a war nick, and one bag of cents I haven't touched yet. I think I have to go back one more time tomorrow to buy everything again in case part of the collection dump was still on the coin counter today.

I don't know what you're all excited about? The bag was almost 92% clad (he said with great sarcasm)?!?!?!?!?

Amazing find. That's more silver dimes than I'll find in my lifetime. Well done.
