I lost a window weight anchor. Told the guy in the front of the boat to check the rope before he threw it out. He checked the rope, it wasn't tied to the weight, but he threw it out without thinking. That could be mine! Wait..............this happened in a small lake on Grand Mesa in Western Colorado. Maybe not. You figure the same thing could have happened with this one?

I have about a dozen of these things from lake erie in ohio. I think they were cargo headed for fort detroit in 1771. no breezie I won't be needing lead any time soon, I can also make dive weights and bullets out of them as well as lead soldiers. my dad has a bunch of moulds for soldiers, cars, horses, coins,a train, and a cannon I think. that was how he passed his youth and he showed me how to do it too.

happy hunting to all.
