9-25-06 finds

I got in just under 8 hours in on Monday. Clad count was $7.01 consisting of:

• 2 sacagawea dollars in the same hole!
  1 Susan B Anthony dollar
  6 quarters
  18 dimes
  8 nickels
  31 pennies

I didn't find much in the way of jewelry. A junk earring and a ring? There are no marks on it, so I don't know if it's a ring or something else. I found a filet knife, how would like to step on that in your bare feet? I also found a set of dog tags. No picture posted for privacy reasons. I was on a gold streak the last 2 Mondays, but that came to a halt. Oh well, I'll get over it. Hope everybody had a good one. HH Bill

Thanks, it was one of the first things I found. I took it as a "less than good" sign, but everything worked out OK.

Thanks Boobydoo, the ring is pretty light and non-magnetic. I was thinking possibly titanium. On the other hand, the groove down the center made me think maybe it came off the beach cleaning machinery.
