Detector(s) used
Minelab E-Trac,Fisher F-70,Bounty Hunter 505,Garrett Pro Pointer
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I have been doing this hobby now since 2007 when i bought my first detector as a gift to myself for graduating college.I am now on my second detector and up until now my best silver finds are a 1785 spanish half reale,a no date Variety 1 SLQ,and a 44 Washington quarter.I 've also managed 4 Barber Dimes, close to 20 Mercs, about 15 or so Silver Rosies, and close to 50 silver rings.None of these compare in size to what I dug on what was going to be my last pass of the day.The sheer nature of it caused me to make another two passes in the park I was gridding in the urban sprawls of Manchester,NH.It was my third time hunting this park over the last month, prior to today I managed a no date buffalo,a nice Worchester salt Good Luck Token to which I researched to be from 1910-1930 range, and a few wheats from the 1930's-1940's.My third target of the day was a nice 1946 rosie,I also managed 5 more wheat pennies(oldest was 1939) and to top it all off a 1944 Walking Liberty Half Dollar.Lastly I managed to find a lone Canadian Nickel, and $2.81 in clad.

At first I thought it was a large token, until I got a closer look.I put it in my pouch and had to keep smacking my hand to keep from looking at it.I couldnt stop shaking all the way home>I walked through the door with the biggest grin.Wife replied"what did you find?"It came out of the ground pretty much the way you see it.Only used soap and water to clean it.

Awesome,Good Job!!! Thanks For Sharing!!

HH John

Congratulations on the Walking Liberty. It's one of the most beautiful coins in my opinion. Sure is nice to find them!

beautiful. can't get enough of those walkers :headbang:

Gotta love those Walkers.

Now THAT'S a killer find ...................................HH

Walker = Fantastic!!! Folks, where are all the Benjamin Halves? They are harder to find than walkers! My hunting buddy found a 40% Kennedy last month--that was a unique one..

Awesome score !
