A couple of trips to the Farmer's Union Hall site, Silver and Wheaties

I happened to drive by the old Farmers' Union site and noticed that some large pine trees that had been on the hillside had been cut down by the power company. They had finally cleaned up the brush and wood chips from last fall. Those trees had hung right to the ground and made it difficult to detect around them.
I drove out, looking at the dark clouds blowing in. Weather report called for "a few scattered light showers", so I decided to give it a shot anyway. In about 5 minutes I had a '44 wheatie and then a '43 Merc, what a great start. And at about 10 minutes it started to pour. And pour, and pour. "light showers", right. I packed up and headed on home. Waited all afternoon, but the rain never quit.

Next afternoon I just had to go out and give it another go. Spent about an hour and managed a '44d, and a '45d wheaties, and '59 Jefferson nickel, and a '59 Roosie.

Now here I sit, watching it snow! Car windsheild is white, and there is some kind of white crap starting to stick to the ground.

Hoping the rest of you are not seeing any of this stuff.

Good Luck,
Mark

Way to take advantage of the opportunity as it came. Must be nice living around East Jordan, it's one of the most beautiful places I've been thru in our state.
