Here are a couple Paleo bases I bought from a friend of mine. The Scottsbluff base is made from Knife River Flint and measures 1 7/16" long. It has a nice diamond shaped cross section and heavily ground stem edges.
The Hell Gap stem is made from what I think is White River Formation chert but looks a lot like KRF. It is about the same length as the other base. It has very heavy grinding on the edges.
Both are from Mountrail Co., ND.
