Hit the low tide wet slopes today for about 2 1/2 hours. 1st hour was nothing but light trash targets so didn't have much hope of finding anything good, especially not gold. So when I swept aside a pile of sand and saw that sweet yellow glint and an outline of a ring I was very surprised! Snatched it up and saw a nice dark blue stone and "18k" stamped on the inside of the shank. After that it was on to find more junk targets, a bit of clad, couple fishing weights, and some weird copper cobra-like object. The ring weighs in at 3.7 grams and is a size 3 1/2, not sure If the stone is real. Thanks for looking, HH!

You took great pictures.....
Is that an polished blue sapphire? Azurite?
Its not a piece of glass.......

I was just thinking how nice that ring would look on one's finger...BUT size 3 1/2 you'll need to make it grow up some.
A beautiful ring no matter what size. Your second hobby must be photography...nicely done photos.

May the ring of gold be in your ears and its glitter in your scoop!

Thanks for the comments everyone! Gonna have to take the the ring to a jeweler and have the stone checked out. It's a nice ring and I would definitely wear it but unfortunately for me its very small, It barely fits over the tip of my pinky finger, maybe I can get it re-sized and wear it as a pinky ring?
