Hello, I used an old plat map to locate a natural spring, one of two in the area. It is a quarter mile from the road in the thickets. I thought it would be overloaded with targets, but in fact, it was rather clean. I found the usual junk, but I also found some broken pottery shards. It was dry at the time, but still pretty nonetheless. I'm going to try and hit the other one before I move (to Indiana).
