Decided to hit a couple of elementary school playgrounds today, heres a list of what I found
20 Pop tops/pull tabs/bottle tops
1 22 cal. bullet/2 22 cal. blanks and 2 22 cal. shell casings
1 rifle shell casing
1 shotgun shell casing
1 key
3 zipper/zipper pulls
2 whatsits
2 pendants
1 token/coin ??
1 Oklahoma pin
1 piece of a toy car
5 Buttons
1 Flattened Dime (railroad tracks would be my guess)
1 quarter
7 dimes
2 nickels
20 pennies, 1 is a wheatback..1945
I found all of this in about 4 hours...it not much to speak of but it was alot of fun. The coin/token is really interesting, was wondering if someone might know what it is about as I cant find anything out about it. I also like the Oklahoma pin...what kid would want to wear that? Oh and the flattened dime brought back memories of me as a kid laying penny's on the train tracks. Well until next time, take care, good luck and happy hunting.
