I made it out for a decent hunt and had some luck. Any detecting this time of year is a bonus for sure. I found some large cents and a 1919 silver dime so I’m happy. The little Victorian “Canada militia” dome button was a cool surprise also. I also found a old complete kids name bracelet and once I cleaned it up i found a name and location on it. I’m looking into finding out who exactly it was that owned it if I can. If i do I’ll track down any close relatives and gladly return it to the family. Thanks for looking! [emoji16][emoji106]

Thanks. I’ve been lucky it’s super mild here so far. Along the coast where I am anyway. A big freeze on its way very soon so I hope it’s only short lived! [emoji27][emoji23]

I have a update on the name bracelet
I found. After some research me and my wife Sam found out the exact owner who would’ve lost it roughy 80 years ago when she was a child. She was 88 and passed away just last September. We managed to contact her daughter who was so overjoyed on hearing what we found. We arranged a meeting and returned it to the family today. She plans on making a special shadow box to display it proudly in her home. [emoji16]

cool story on the return of the bracelet to the family member...I've never found much traceable with a name etc. so that brings a whole new dimension to detecting I have yet to explore
