here are some of the KY geodes opened up
a few rocks I picked up this weekend, I found the large one at the beach and had to bring it home because it had little shells stuck in the nook and crannies. The last couple pics are the contents of an old jar my dad gave me. When he was in the military he would pick up little rocks off and on and fill jars, over the years the jars were lost or broken all but this one and he gave it to me :) because the couple polished rocks in there you see was my contribution after a muesem trip i had as I was a little kid. As a kid his jars of rocks facinated me. The little green and blue stones are not polished they were found that way, can anyone id?

Sea glass is cool, but I was hoping like Trish that it was some kind of gem..oh well.. Yeah I just got the jar of goodies so I am still looking through all of it.

I passed some tumbled glass up this weekend at the beach.. :-X guess thats one more thing to start adding to my pouch, metal detecting finds, rocks, interesting shells, and now sea glass, I gotta get a bigger pouch and I doubt I will make it 100ft down the beach all day.
