A few heartbreakers, but all in all, a good day in the field!

Hello everyone,

So this was my first hunt in a farmers field fresh after rain, I did much better than I thought I would. Too bad the triangles are broken, they would have been nice ones, and the wide broken one I'm guessing is some sort of knife? The squibnocket(?) is kind of a chunky one... pretty cool. Please have a look and leave some comments, thanks in advance.

All good finds, let it rain some more and I bet you will do better:thumbsup: I always let it rain at least 4in before I look in a fresh plowed field.

I usually go after every rain cause if I wait somebody else will get there 1st. On the broken pieces it would be a hard guess as to what they were but at least you know youre in the rite spot. When I find broken pieces I throw my flathead screwdriver down on it and walk a large circle around it to be sure I didn't miss anything. Then if I find something worth saving I will look for natural landmarks to mark that spot in my mind for the next time it rains and I can go straight to that spot and have another look. I was thinking on using them flags like city workers do that stick in the ground but then everyone can see it. I do see some tie a ribbon on a tree branch. I always go have a look why else would it be there :laughing7:
