The first and last pics are fossils. Get those to the fossils forum. I'd be curious what they got to say about it.

Pics 2-6 look like chert/chalcedony/agate. Uncertain what to call it.
The next 2 pics look quartz-ish.

I thought the big boy (four pictures posted) was banded chert. However, this morning I took a flashlight to it and it has translucent areas. It's heavy as well, maybe five pounds( no scale in hotel). That would be one awesome Agate find. My van broke down ( second time in a week) and was waiting on a tow. My little guy and I immediately started looking around at the rocks. That when I found that rock.

I put the fossils over there last night. People really don't respond much unless it's just to be a smart ass.

As EU said those are some interesting fossils Hope the fossil folks give a hand. The banded rock reminded me of chert as well but its not quite right. You've noted translucent bands then I'm more inclined towards an agate. Banded chert that I've picked up in the Ozark region as a kid is uniformly grey and black and I've never seen it fracture out like your specimen between bands.

Thank you . It threw me for a loop due to my current location and banded chert is everywhere. However, it has those slight signs of not being chert.
