No more wrong than the people that buy morning glory seeds! If they knew how much time I spent chopping morning glory out of the family garden or tobacco patches as a kid, they'd never spend another dollar on such nonsense!

I also found a Louisiana sales tax token from the 30's (according to Google) but I can't seem to get it clean so no point in taking a picture of it

That is a very good find, I have yet to find a sales tax token. Most people on here are fine with photos of artifacts, clean or not, you will never find a find that is decently old that looks perfectly clean unless it is gold or silver, those metals do not do much, if any, corroding.

Welcome to Tnet......I see you joined today, and this is your first post......so I guess it is "fitting" that your 1st find, on your 1st day, with your 1st post would be the #1 most dug item, the elusive (not) PULL TAB.......Sweet, you are right on schedule....lol.

Good Luck.....and please post your future finds......Thanks for the great picture.

Happy Hunting
Bill

They are like "rusty nails", you dig one up and ten more grow in its place. Welcome to the forum.
