Dear digum smacks;
Don't feel too depressed about your find not being platinum, my friend. The last time I checked, the spot price for pallidium was hovering right below 300$ an ounce. All in all, your ring find is valued at almost 20 TIMES that of a like silver ring! At 9 grams, that palladium ring is worth between 80$ and 90$ spot. Not too shabby at all, my friend! Congratulations on a VERY interesting and unusual find!
Your friend;
LAMAR
