I had an invite to go hunt Ft. Benjamin Harrison yesterday. It is private property and we had to have a written invite in our pocket at all times. I got checked twice. We were able to hunt the parade grounds area that I figure was about the size of 30 football fields. This parade grounds was established in 1903.
There were five of us and we found many keepers. Here are mine.......
One 1906 Indian, 9 wheats, and two nickels from the 50's
5 silvers including a dime tri-fecta!!! 1912 Barber dime, 1940 and 1942 mercs, a 1956S Rosie, and a 1943P war nickel.
ID bracelet, a beaver pendant, and another pendant.
8 Great seal buttons, and a US collar disc.
Misc military.
Shell casings including 2 live rounds
And misc.

Great digs Mike! You have good connections. The coins and buttons are cool, but I really like that beaver thing.
