a half dollar coin - maybe!

i found a coin that i thought was a half dollar but after perusing it a bit more i found that it was the coin of the realm in france. i have no idea what it's worth. it looks like a 1916 half dollar that i found a few years ago of usa mintage. it was real silver. this coin also has a walking lady and appears to be real silver from 1971. does anyone want to venture a guess whether or not it's worth 50 cents or perhaps more? wayne
