Back to campus again with the CZ21. Gridded a rather none productive area bordering the baseball field (baseball field is the only area of campus I cannot detect). I managed 61 coins in 4 hours with a face value of $3.56, another horseshoe that is almost a match for the one I found a few weeks ago, an F organ reed, another top to a copper roofing fastener, and a one piece concave button.

The button is the best find of the day. It is slightly mashed on the sides so it is out of round, but I haven’t found many concave one piece buttons. There isn’t any makers mark, but if you look closely you can see where the shank was soldered on. There is still a tiny bit of the silver wash on the top and back. Not a great button, but more evidence of the farm that was here before the college.

Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.
