Shovelnose and I hunted hard on both Friday and Saturday (6-8 hours each day). We had a great (but tiring) time and both found silver each day. This site is very trashy and has been hunted hard, but the E-Trac showed itself well.
He has already posted his a couple of places. Following is what I found for all my labors:
Friday April Fools:
1940 Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1964D Roosevelt
9 wheaties (1934, 36D, 2x44, 50D, 53D, 55, 57D, ??)
$2.36 Clad and copper memorials
Enameled disc size of a quarter
18K gold plated watch
Electroplated Myrtle Beach thing
2 square nails that made me think they were dimes (must have been brought in with fill dirt)
Plus many bits of aluminum that come up as pennies
Saturday April 2:
.925 Silver child’s ring
8 Wheaties (1941, 44, 45, 2x48, 49, 51, 56D)
$3.58 in clad and copper memorial change (8 quarters, 10 dimes, 58 pennies)
Costume plated ring
Blue Marble
Aluminum button (that was a good 12-45 number)
Watch guts (not shown)
Plus the usual aluminum trash and one square nail
Overall, we had a great time, but were definitely dragging at the end of each day.
Thanks for looking and happy hunting!!
