A lil bit o' silver

It has been so long since I posted under "today's finds" I can't even remember the last time I found something worth posting. This year has been rough on me with work and the other half nagging me to do chores and what not. My time out detecting is down by half. I found this ring and cross on what may be my last hunt of the year. Cold weather and snow has arrived in Colorado.
The cross is stamped sterling but looks like it was also gold plated.

forgot to mention that the cross is formed of 3 spikes - I find that just a wee bit odd.
