A little bit of silver

Hit a couple parks today. Found four junk rings, two nice wheats, and one 1952 silver dime. The button (?) is made from a 1985 nickel. Has anyone seen this kind of button before?

Maybe the nickle button is someone showing off their talent .

Gotta admit: the button does look ... unusual. Maybe someone experimenting with their new Dremel tool?

The edges on the other side are sharp and protrude. Looks to be pressed out? Interesting nonetheless. Just one of those weird things you find while detecting..
