Hot again here today. But had been out with a friend yesterday, and found a 1919 Wheat back, so thougth that I would go back to the same park today, and take the smaller coil as the area I was hunting has tons of trash.
Had just got started when I get this screaming signal pounding in my ears. Drop down and start digging and out pops a metal piece of a bracelet. Would have loved to seen this thing in one piece. The piece that I found, has 2 rows of 11 stones on the top, and each side has a row of 11 stones. It's heavy, but no markings. Still a pretty neat item to pull from the ground.
Kept swinging, and finding a little clad, then out pops a snap or button with the emblem and writing on the top that says PHAT FARM. If it's a button, it's real heavy.
Kept going, and at 5 inches, I got this nickel signal, and almost didn't dig it. It would have been a big mistake. The ground is dry and hard, but for some reason it was a little soft in this area, so I took the chance that it might be a nickel. Imagine my surprise when out popped a mans 10 K gold band. I must be on some type of a roll this year. This is my 3rd gold ring in about a month.
Guess I'll have to dig more of those nickel sounds.
Hope you all were able to get out and have some great finds too.
