Got out early for low tide. My buddy just happened to be at the same spot when I got there. He was working the north side of the pier and I took the south side.

We worked a couple of hours and hadn't found anything exciting. I took off and got a text about 30 minutes later from my buddy. He came back and worked the south side just twenty feet away from where I had stopped.
Found two really pretty 10k rings with stones!....It was buggin' me all day.

I couldn't take it. Got out for the second low tide this evening at a different location and found the ring in wet sand on the slope.
Some junk jewelry, junk ring that looked good in the scoop, foreign coins and a Gerber folding knife.

Good Luck This Weekend

After reading Dave's post turns out what I thought was a junk ring is an unmarked 9k with a Druzy Quartz stone...:)

Looks like a nice adventure

Right on Rich! Congrats on the gold man, hey are you sure that other ring isn't gold? The stone that's mounted on it looks like Druzy Quartz..

Nice gold ring Rich. Congrats on all the nice finds.

Nice gold finds and fun hunting with you buddy! :occasion14:

Thanks Dave and you're absolutely right. The ring wasn't marked but tested 9k. Never heard of Druzy Quartz until this morning after reading your post.
So we are going to make it a two ring night. IMG_1993.JPG
