The Amana Colony's, seven little German Villages, located in Easter Iowa. Stopped at a local winery and purchased a couple bottles of wine, Also went to a woolen mill and a furniture factory.Lots of cool things to see and buy. The picture are first at the winery, next at the woolen mill and last at the furniture factory. I'm not sure how to add the text between the messages so sorry for that. Van

It is a neat place to visit, but a tourist trap in the Summer. The food at the places there is really good, served family style, with lots of German dishes.

Its neat to watch the machines run,and the best thing about that place is that all most everything there is made there, not China or Mexico.
