First...Apologies to all my Swedish friends for mispelling "smorgasboard". Well I don't know anyone who is Swedish and todays prework hunt was in fact a smorgasboard.
Started out with a small 925 followed by a nice 10 gram PT 950. It has a nice wide band but is pretty thin. Then I found the titanium, the junk toe ring and finally the first gold for 2013. It is a very small band at 2 grams. It tested for 14K and has a 1946 inscription in it. That's the oldest one I have found yet.
It still amazes me how I have some great/lucky days with short prework hunts and on my days off I'll spend 4 hours scooping up nothing but pulltabs and bottle caps.
Thanks for looking and good luck out there!
