I went to a very large school yard where I had found some wheat Penny's last mouth.Knew there had to be some silver there its a old part of town.Didn't find a lot but when it's been a .long time since you have found anything worth posting it gets you pumped.Lots of clad coins and a 1917 wheat that's in rough shape. Thanks for looking.

Nice work Kevin! I just got back from a trip to Iowa this weekend. Took my detector along and hit a couple abandoned homesteads for about an hour. I also got a silver quarter but not as old as yours. Also got a 1902 IHP and some relics. Wish I would have had more time because I think this whole community was virgin ground. Glad to see you got some some silver, I think you will nail some Indians any day now!

Nice finds, but I am curious as to what type of school yard that is :dontknow: Is it a ballfield, or some other sporting area? I would have loved to have seen pictures of the site too, in addition to thse those finds.
