a mixmatch question

Anyone ever go into a new bank and ask for a mixed box of coin?? Like 10 rolls of each denomination?? I'm feeling spunky today and have a few hundred bucks to tie up in coin. Now I know a lot of you will say "DO HALVES OR DIMES" but I'm in the mood for multiple denominations. Thinking of filling some folders. Just wondering if anyone else has done this

I have thought about this too many times, it's a great idea and you diversify your stash... go for it!!

I have done something similar. When I'm out bank hopping looking for halves, if I'm about to run out of banks and still have money in my pocket, I'll sometimes buy "$100 assortments" at the last 5 banks or so.

I do this frequently. $100 quarters, $100 dimes, $40 nickels, $10 pennies.

That's what I do if I'm not searching halves. Keeps it interesting.
