Got a nice foreign silver today! It has a little stain from when there was grass around it and given that it was deposited close to a watery environment, I think its still in fairly nice condition.
I like all silver in any shape or form :headbang: :metaldetector: :treasurechest:

Here is the variety shot got one Wheat cent a 1926 and another interesting Canadian coin , not a bad hunt !

Congrats on the silver rescue. I agree,, silver in any shape or form. No matter how many silvers I have found,, I still get a thrill out of seeing a silver in the hole.

that's a neat silver quarter, Ive always liked older Canadian coins, good hunt!

I believe that the 47 with the tiny leaf beside the seven means that it was minted in early 48, as the 48 dies had to be changed. I think that the dies had to be changed because India left the common wealth, and all these countries were more or less tied into this stuff together. The 47 leafs are a neat find, for me anyway. And silver is silver. :icon_thumleft:
