A nice harvest

A friend shot this turkey on one of my properties today. I haven’t heard the weight, spurs, beard, etc data yet.

Here’s a photo of the fan and beard, pressed and hung to dry temporarily.
Looks like a decent bird.

Good size. What size, weight, do they get to there?

Not sure on this one yet. Guys have been in the 22 LB range, 2 to 3 inch spurs and 12-13 inch beards, on big birds. I have no idea what average would be. A friend shot one with 3 beards a few years ago on same property.

That bird can make plenty of gumbo!👍

So you wouldn't want to get hit by one flying then. Pretty solid units!
