In a previous post...

I shaded an area is red where I felt there was a high probability for quakes - or even where the "The Big One" will start.

Here is a map of today, showing the 5.4 and it's many aftershocks.

...and the pattern continues...

I feel bad for California. I don't see how they can ever be prepared for a really large quake - that is almost certainly going to happen.

Watch HEMET!

This is a fascinating animation of the last 7 days....

Watch near the lower right, as the red dots (quakes happening) seem to migrade towards the north, leading up to the 5.4 quake....

I'm just saying, NOW are dangerous times for California. (and maybe I am fascinated by the sensor data ;))

Here they are saying it was an isolated event, and not an aftershock...

... I don't buy it - this is an event, a swarm, that has a certain motion to it - the energy waves are flowing north, right towards the San Andreas. It all started with the 6.9 on August 03, 2009 (NOT the 7.2 on April 4th 2010)

of JUST the last 7 days - keep an eye on the Baja area, and watch closely- you will see the red dots - current quakes, clearly traveling north... I find that fascinating. I would like to see a time lapse animation starting August 3rd 2009!
