When you purchase a sub lease from the Fishers, you can work any of there east coast recovery leases they own (most of the time), a percentage of the time you can be required to work certain wreck sites, and not work others as they determine.
Your contract with them is for one season, starting around the end of May, and running until fall weather and rough seas take over.
Hurry if you are interested in the 2009 season. You can contact them and request a sub lease package, and they will get it out to you along with all the information you will need on a CD.

I think the lease is actually good from the time you secure it until the end of that same year, although Tom is right, inclement weather usually ends the season sometime in the fall.

I also believe the subcontracts cost $1200.00 now.
