A "RARE"NORTH CAROLINA BOATSTONE

This BoatStone was found in 2011 in Washington Co. North Carolina . It was found by one of my arrowhead hunting buddies. This BoatStone was found in a plowed field. He has also found some really nice points out of that same field.

What NC region is Washington co.? That gives me hope!! Sure is thin, for a boat stone. Great, once in a life timer there!!

Eastern North Carolina! Along the Albermarle Sound.

Looks more like a Gorget type to me. I havent ever seen a Boatstone like that. JMO
