The park is still producing loads of coins. It's all down to austerity (paying for corrupt bankers). Once this large local park was very well kept, with park attendants walking about. Now due to cuts only the center of the park is well kept. You no longer see attendants, the outer park is now simply left to dog walkers. It looks like they only cut the grass once a year. So there we have it a Virgin park, dating back over a century, what's a man to do :laughing7:. These are the result of a couple of hours this afternoon. A silver 1942 sixpence, two silver three pences 1921 and 37. The star find a great little spoon heavily decorated, probably 19th century. Cheers for looking, Robert.

WOW,once again. That is an incredible looking spoon, best I have seen in a while. Looks a lot older than 1800s though. wow is an understatement!

hello villagenut, cheers, yes the spoon looks nice, very lucky not to damage it.

Wow! Nice digs, that spoon looks Victorian as you said.
They really liked filigree and intricate decorations back then. :treasurechest::thumbsup:

Funny shaped spoon, & as you say, rare complete & undamaged.
