Just got back from detecting a pasture field , it was walking distance from the end of my street. Here's some pictures of the short walk to the field,. There's three very nice pubs on the way, plus a 13th century thatched barn, and the site of an old toll house. Not bad for half a mile . As for finds, a couple of toasted Georgian coppers, plus a toasted 17th century copper. A Victorian copper coin, plus £1.52 in modern coins. Enjoy the pictures. Robert.

Hello the Georgian will probably be George 111 so around the 1770s, the 17th century one I would guess around 1690s. Robert.

Nice weather in the UK Rob! It's a lovely spot you live in. I would chose the Chequers for a beer after detecting. :occasion14:

Thanks for taking us along the stroll through the village of "RobFinds". That 13th C barn is amazing. Nice digs too.

Cheers

It's a big food pub Westfront, they hope the cost of the beer gets lost in the bill.

Most pubs do that nowadays.:BangHead: Food price is ok, when you get the bill you fall right over what you have to pay for the few beer you had.

With three pubs on the way home, I'm guessing my pictures would have been out of focus.
