WOW ! Big differance in a short time!
Here the big change happens sometimes real quick to but, because one day beautiful trees that night hail storm rain, wind next day the prettys is blown into the gutters!
That is some beautiful scenery. I love the fall colors, we have beautiful Yellow leaves on Hickory trees, Orange and Red on our Oaks, and Day glow colors on our Maples. This year no good color due to the drought.
That's some georgous scenery, That is a good combination of activities for a day, Fishing and woodcutting. It will make
you sleep good at night.
The trees around here are stripped bare now. I've been spending most of the last 3 or 4 days raking leaves. Have a part of the back yard to do and it'll be done.
All in all, there was just over 8 chords when cutting became impossible.
winter started late but has hit hard.
I hope the snow decides to stay high and leaves us in the valleys alone for the most part.
Now that the white Christmas is over with especially.
My wife thinks I am a Scrooge because I really don't think a white Christmas is so much fun.
I told her ... snow is work. white Christmases are way over rated.
She hasn't shoveled snow in years, so she doesn't understand.
A white Christmas is beautiful if you dont have to shovel, carry fire wood, or go anywhere! Just have everything you need then you can just go play in it or look at it!
Nice pics...especially the 2nd and 4th photo...they just make me feel there must be something waiting there to be found. What's in that area on the left side of the 2nd one, 2/3-3/4 the down (from the top)?
Oh yes, I see that could be a problem. In my area they put some state parks where the treasure site or the trail leading to it, can be watched from the visitor center. If anyone in Indiana (Peru/Kokomo area) is still looking for the 7 Pillars, old French trading post, some have searched for...I found it! The old fireplace is still standing and it looked like the Archies had been in there digging. But the problem is a state park was built around the site.
