Hey gang,
I just scored nearly 200 Desert Mags for only $200 !!!!!!! Top 2 rows are from the 30's and 40's, next 2 are from the 50's, last row is from the 70's and 80's, and the pile to the right is the 60's.. YEAH!!!!!

Hey, do a favor for us nostalgia buffs: See what year/month the first metal detector ads started to appear in them. Like, perhaps on a page within the mag, or perhaps in the classifieds in the rear ("find buried treasure!", etc...) I'd just be curious. I saw a few old mags of that type in the past ("True West", etc...) and it seems to me that the earliest of the ads started appearing in the mid 1950s, at the earliest. But see, if you can, if any earlier ads appear, and what brands/types those were. thanx.
