up old junk. ;D ;D ;D

Come to think of it; makes me worry sometimes; :tongue3:

Haha the guy seems nuts but the one comment someone posted about Kidd using his treasure to party instead of bury is partially true since most pirates spent the money as soon as they got it then went out to sea for more but Kidd buried his treasure to bribe officials to release him is he was captured. Then again after he was hung im sure some of his shipmates went back and dug it up or took it out of whatever hiding spot it was in. Do you guys believe in buried pirate treasure?

I believe in buried pirates.
At least I believe there are buried pirates.
Somewhere.
Classic pirates or river pirates, there is a difference.

It's the aliens I tell you! He hasn't been wearing his tin foil hat and they have infiltrated his brain...passing him info so he does all the hard work. Then they will swoop down and take it! :tard: :tongue3: :icon_jokercolor: ::) :P

Part of me hopes that the story is true...I guess time will tell.

Pirates didn't buried their treasure. It was divided up and most of it ended up in the pockets of saloon owners and ladys of pleasure.

And too a good share ended up on the bottom of the sea (ocean).

Buried treasure had to do with personal caches temporary left behind for safe keeping in times of distress.

The pirate chests of loot and map thing is a total myth (that I personally love).

The guy in the story is a nut. He's hearing God's voice? Did somebody say dowsing? ;D

Oh, a voice just told me there's pizza waiting! I must follow....

That's really a coincidence Jeff...I've had that same dream more times than I care to enumerate at this time.
