I was not expecting to see an oldie on this post. I figured you had that place vacuumed out. Glad to see you finally squeaked the last Indian out there:laughing7:

Jeff, you always post great photos. Now these do look as if the areas should produce some great finds.Congrats on that Indian head penny.

You sniffed out an Indian. I like my black widows, but I have had to send them in to replace the cables each of the past 2 years. They are great for some of my sites that are close to RR tracks, but on a hot muggy day I use a cheap set without ear-cups.

Looks like a huge area Jeff. I am guessing that is where you took Gary a couple years ago? Seems everyone but me is finding Indians. Hope my turn comes soon:icon_thumright:

yep. these pics are only the western Half of the Park.
or maybe Western Quarter.

Untitl.jpg

first time we hunted together we hit this park.
plenty of room here for all types of coins to be hiding yet.
only problem is swinging over them.

Same goes for your situation I'm sure.

Good Huntin'

& thanks All !

You have been hammering that place before i was born. I have swung there too with you and some places it is dead quiet not a blip. I have manged to pull an old wheat or two.

Amen to that! I've been there once and felt blessed to pull two wheats as I know he has absolutely pounded that place for decades with lots of different detectors. Anything there now deserves a hide n seek championship award!

I hate to take my headphones off when I retrieve the target, this habit, made the cable break near the plug. I have a 6 ft extension coming that should solve this issue.
