Ace 150 vs saltwater

Hi all! Chris here in key west Florida . Detecting for about 5 years now with what I thought was a pos garret 150 -- turns out it really is how well you know machine-- anyway just wanted to say it took a wave over the entire machine the other day and I really thought all was lost since it was on then died with a horrible tone-- took her apart and rinsed everything off and light cleaning blow dried then air dried 2 hrs and new batteries -- wham! Like new again!! Thanks garret !!

The problem is going to be how it responds several months down the road, that will be when you know f it was truly damaged or not....
