I have read on this site and others that some
People have problems with the 250.I have been Mding
For only 2years,and I own one.For the money
I think it is good. However putting it in a place like a quarry
Where ther are a lot of rocks not so good.I believe you get
What you pay for,in fields parks even some old
Tote roads it does well.Sometimes it is frustrating but what
Can you do ,turn down your sensitivity and move on.
I don't know about you other 250 owners but
For me I will not be dicouraged. Hopefully this year for
Christmas AT pro, until then it's me and my daughter and the
250 we will carry on. HH GL

I absolutely loved my Ace 250. I found a ton of goodies with it. I miss it so much I'm thinking about buying another to use as a backup/guest detector.

I had a BH IV for 4 years and recently purchased a 250. I was not liking the 250 at first but I am adjusting to it every time I use it, it's defiantly growing on me. I think a lot of people just get used to something and its hard to change. Most people don't like change and we are creatures of habit. Looking at stepping up to the AT pro or gold, I like the numeral indicator for different metal types.

Hmmmm, I think the original post belongs in the Garrett section instead of Bounty Hunter. Maybe it can be moved?
