ACE250 12" coil first impressions
tried the 12" coil i got from kellyco today at a local park. hit the tot lot first. its great on sand. i covered the tot lot much quicker than usual. found about a 1.50 in clad in about 20 minutes. i was done with the tot lot in short order.
next, moved on to the grassy areas..
here's where it wasnt as much fun. the whole thing about it being hard to pinpoint with the 12" coil is true. its rather random as to where a target ends up. even doing a good "X", i still ended up with some big holes to try to retreive a coin. i couldnt seem to figure out where the "spot" was on the coil.
seems like a great coil for beaches and tot lots. it's not a great choice though for places where digging is rough or big holes arent a good idea.
