Acoma Pottery?

I have a lidded piece of pottery shaped like a bowl with a lid on it.It is a polychrome piece that is balck,white and some kind of brown colored.The bottom is marked " R.Boven of Acoma".Anyone with a book that lists notable Acoma artists? Ever heard of this name? Or is it just another one of hundreds of unknowns from this area?

While some Acoma pueblo artists have achieved great fame and command thousands of dollars for their work, R. Boven is, unfortunately, not one of them. I have seen a few of his/her pieces from time to time on ebay and they usually are listed with an asking price around $10.

Ha-ha,yeah I figured as much.That's okay it's a nice piece and it only cost me a dollar.Gotta love those yard sales!
