So, I've been reading 4 days from Ft Wingate, and plotted their route from Sacaton all way to Baldy, and then the 26th down to east side of springerville. The plotted course from Sacaton to Baldy in 6 days (Aug 20th-25th) was 180ish miles. The trip down from Baldy to Springerville was about 29 miles. This puts their estimated rate of travel at 30 miles a day. Does anyone have any other info on this subject that could be helpful?
