Still no snow, it is December and no snow here at all. This have been extraordinary fall.

Well lucky for me cause I though that my detecting is done for this year but not. And Im very happy. Maybe I still get a change to go out.
Only problem is that its very rainy and dark outside so you have like couple of hours to hunt if you want see something.

This morning had a lazy start. I was just sitting and drinking my mornig cup of coffee somewhere about 10 am. And of course surfing in net and reading Treasure Net stories. So could not read many post when the itch came to go out and find that treasure.

Clock was something about 11 am or later when I found the spot. It was really dark already out so I knew that i maybe have 2-4 hours to do some digging before it goes totally black in the woods.

Well I found a old lock first, nice, it was in good condition. Well couple of meters from the lock was the key to it :) I was happy, the whole thing and working.

Then it started to pop out some old coins, and there were good condition too. The silver 25 pennia from 1917 is almost perfect condition.

Then hit that silver class ring from year 1999, cant return it cause there is only first name.

Started to get very dark and raining too.

I almost saw nothing when I pulled that silver bracelet up. Man I was happy to see it shine in the pitch black woods. Well here come the pics.

sorry about the quality but it was like really dark.

Way to go! I love the lock and key!
By the way... can you still use the coins you collect? Not sure how it works with the euro...
HH Daisy

cannot use those old coins, but if you want see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markka you can find the old markka coins wich you can go and change to Euros before year 2008. In news they told that this kind of markka coins are still millions somewhere. Old peoples home, in the ground and sowhere just waiting that someone picks them up. Of course we have some real old money from viking times and older medievals. Just have not found any yet. Oldest what I have founded is from 1600s. Finland have been under Russian and Sverige too so you can find both countries coins too example.kopeks and Ores.
