The insurance industry has some crazy logic. I see ads for accident forgiveness. In reality what this really means is that the careful drivers are going to pay a bigger chunk towards the companies profit. Then you see all the discounts, HAY, I am paying for their risk in insuring me not some special groupes discounts. Why don't they just have rates based on your drivers record? And now they want to get every detail of your driving with a module pluged into the cars ECM access to hit you for theroretical future accidents. Think about it.
Now there is the patent medicine industry. This is a big can of worms. What seams to be happening is they are inventing symptoms to diseases that are normal problems in later life. Sure I can see the Advil for back and joint pain, but some of the ads have mile long list of problems that the meds can cause. This makes me wonder about this industry.
