I hunted in the median for 7 hours today and was getting to be disappointed that I did not find even one silver coin???. I was Very tired so I started to make my way back to my car swinging my coil as I get closer to my car and get a good beep at 5 inches. unbelievably I dig out a 1944-S Walker Half Dollar! This would be my 5th silver half that I dug out of the median! My third walker in 11 weeks! I might usually dig one walker a year, so digging 3 this year is way above normal. Also dug 7 wheaties, 2 silver rings, and the usual clad. If you are going home with one silver coin it might as well be a walker half!:headbang:

Awesome job, still scratching my head on why a median would produce such a variety of finds:dontknow:

This two mile long median has been a magnet for kids to play in for the last 80 years. Lots of big trees and places to hide. Much more accessible than the nearest park that is 1 to 2 miles away. My 50+ metal toys dug here proves it.
