After a long day of diggin it's nice to have a seat(ed)

I had a great day out digging with my buddy at a location we call "bullet hill". I found my first seated coin (also my oldest coin find) about 12 inches down!

It repeatedly rang in at 83-86 so I new I had something good. I tried to call over my buddy but he was currently making his find of the day...

It was unbelievable that we both found big coins at the same time. I still can't believe the odds. His coin turned out to be a Brazilian coin dated 1871-1889.

Fantastic finds, congrats. Theory...if these were on "Bullet Hill," they may have been used as targets! (the horror...) Sub8-)

Here she is after a quick rinse off... sadly I can see where I hit her with my shovel :BangHead:

I'm still getting use to the Garrett Carrot, turns out the retune feature is not optional if you want to run in full sensitivity.

For me this is beyond an amazing find since I'm married, work 50hrs/week, and my first child was born six months ago (Love being a dad!); safe to say I don't have a lot of free time to dig.
