After beating the beach and the waves for 5½ hours, finally got a Gold!

Well at least it was beautiful out, and for the first 4 hours the waves were calm. But then the winds came and so did the waves, rough, rough, rough... I worked from one end of the beach to the other with only a small handful of coins and 5 junk wire bracelets (all found in one spot), to show for my efforts. With only about 20' of beach left to hunt I finally pulled out a gold. Marked Novell 14K white gold mans band, weighs 8.6 grams. Spent 5½ hours in the water, while getting out of the water I saw a sparkle in the sand, and found the crystal earring. Aloha all. HH

This is/was the original Sunspot scoop. I think they're out of Michigan. I've had mine for like 15 years or more, even ran over it with the car last summer...
